For some of you, the words “structure and routine” strike fear in your heart. But it doesn’t have to. A basic routine can help bring peace to a home. Who doesn’t want that?

You will find, in the days to come, a series of posts on structure and routine. This has been the topic of our local GEMS® group. We have had a ‘panel’ of ladies with different temperaments and family situations provide a unique perspective on structure and routine. A few of us thought, “Wouldn’t it be great to share the ladies’ advice from the panel?” So here you are.

I pray that the series of posts will bless, encourage, even motivate you to implement a routine and to know “WHY” you are doing so. Gary and Anne Marie Ezzo encourage us to remember the “why” because knowing this will bring you through those tough and mundane days where you really wonder if it’s worth it!

The posts from this series will be listed below as they are published here on GrowingKids.org.
